We, the people of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, being a part of and acting with the South Carolina Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, will participate in God's mission by:

Proclaiming the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with holy scripture and the apostolic witness by preserving and transmitting the Gospel faithfully to this and future generations.

Reaching out to one another and all people in our part of God's kingdom to bring them to faith in Christ through teaching and example, that all may grow in faith, hope, and love.

Serving human needs in response to God's love, by caring for all that Christ has called our neighbor.

Worshipping God through the proclamation of the Word, administering the sacraments, and living lives of prayer, praise, thanksgiving, witness, and sacrifice.
