Sunday School at St. John's Lutheran Church
St. John's Lutheran Church offers a variety of Sunday School classes to all members of a family, with classes for all ages:
Nursery for infants and up to Pre-K
Children age 4 to grade six. Classes are broken down by:
**Kindergarten through Grade 2
**Grades 3 thru 6
Confirmation for youth (7th and 8th grade) preparing to affirm their Baptism
Post Confirmation
Two Adult Classes
**Conversation and Formation Class - meets in Sanctuary
The class is typically a short series of topical materials - possibly current events, contemporary issues, church doctrinal
material, etc.
**Augsburg Class - meets in Library
This is traditional Bible study.
Conversation and Formation Class started a new series on April 22, 2012.
On April 22, 2012, we began a 6-week study entitled “Purity, Hospitality, Monsters, and Mortality”, based on the book “Unclean” by Richard Beck, professor of Psychology at Abilene Christian University and author of the blog “Experimental Theology”.
